What are insulated corrugated composite panels?

A composite panel is a simple sandwich of 2 metal profiles at either side of foam insulation. These panels are an ideal single fix solution to insulate and clad a building. They are produced in various thickness to suit all insulation requirements, with color coated steel outer sheets and white enamel internal liner. Good panels usually have to meet the fire safety performance of up to 30 minutes insulation and 4 hours integrity, achieved with standard fixings and sealant.

Polystyrene composite sandwich panels

Being a kind of new type of multi-functional building material, polystyrene composite sandwich panel consists of steel plate at both sides and polystyrene sandwiched. They are bonded with high intention adhesive at high temperature and pressure through an auto forming machine.

Mineral wool sandwich panels

Mineral wool sandwiched panels are made of 2 layers of weatherproof color-plating steel plates or other metal plates and mineral wool sandwiched which is one the best fireproof materials. Mineral wool sandwich panels are suitable for various roofs and walls referring to the large-size factory buildings, storages, exhibition halls, freezing stores, and such. The average thermal conductivity of the panel is 0.

You can select the different thicknesses of the composite panels following the proof load-bearing and purlin distance. They offer a quick and effective solution where heat loss is a factor in your building. The single panel system is very quick to install and could provide great savings on labor costs.

Insulated aluminum composite panels

Another variation of composite sandwich panel incorporates modified mineral or beaded core layer in middle, it is enclosed with nonflammable aluminum layers on both sides.

The material is strong, durable with excellent heat resistance, Class 0 Rating. These panels offer excellent thermal properties, PIR and PUR cores, and 15 – 40 year guarantees.

The insulation reduces noise which is ideal if working inside, panels minimize heat loss through roofs and walls which not only keeps your building warm but also reduces your carbon footprint and saves on the ever-increasing cost of energy bills. The panels are easily lapped and cover a large surface once fitted.

The actual installation is also a straightforward process that won’t cause too much disruption to your day to day operations. The coatings help to provide superior exterior durability to ensure the longevity of the roof sheets, with high resistance to scratches and damage. They are corrosion resistant for many decades.

Resistance to rust of roof insulated corrugated aluminum panel means that their durability is exceptionally long, also making them more easily reusable, especially compared to other materials. The fluid-resistant and contamination-free features of roof insulated corrugated aluminum panels make them suitable for packaging sensitive products like food and medicine.

Summary

Composite insulated sandwich metal roof and wall panels are suitable for many traditional and non-standard building designs in the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and post-frame markets. They are available in a variety of colors and finishes to fit any building aesthetic.

Built-in thermal breaks ensure the highest insulating (“R”) values are maintained. This panel roofing mitigates thermal bridging and thermal drift and the concealed attachment with clips and fasteners at the side joint offers a clean, high profile appearance.

Fastening is required at the top and bottom only with no additional framing. Quick, one-piece construction ensures rapid installation. Sandwich roofing requires less insulation space to comply with energy codes, maximizing available enclosed space.

  1. We are a small screen building company. Specializing in Lanai’s, pool cages. I’m looking for 4X 20 3” white composite panels. Do you sell these? If so how much per panel, and how quickly can I get them? Thank you, Carol Rodriguez
