Tubular Skylights Installation
The solar tube installation is not very complicated work and you can install it yourself with the help of the attached installation guide. The installation can be done in 2 phases, first one covers the roofing works and the second one the interior works.

The top part, the fix skylight must be mounted into the prepared roof hatch. Above the skylight, the small drainage plastic or
metal gutter is installed to achieve the waterproof solution and the roofing shingles are laid all over the skylight.
Solar tube installation - interior works
The round-shaped hole of corresponding dimensions is then cut into the ceiling and the soler diffuser socket is mounted in.
The solar tube (tubus) is installed so that it joins both skylight and diffuser sockets and is fixed with the reflective tape. Then the semi-transparent diffuser can be installed into the socket.
The whole soler system must be hermetically closed in order to avoid the vapour condensation. Also it is necessary to insulate the tubus from the outside (loft) environment as it can heat quite extensively during the sunny day and the vapours can
condensate on it as well.
The diffuser shall be placed on the horizontal ceiling in order to reach the best illumination. You can also combine it with the classic bulb (electrician works needed) and make it a 24 hours illumination source.
