The Complete Solar Systems
In the latest articles I explained how the solar roof collectors work, but the solar panels are just the beginning.
They only face the sunshine and absorb itīs energy with the copper absorber plates. To use the absorbed solar energy you will need to connect the roof solar panels to the other parts of the whole solar system.
First there are the heat
distribution pipes there. Usually they are produced of the quality steel, insulated from the outer environment to limit the vaporization.
The pipes carry the
heat-transporting liquid (must be antifreezer fluid, definitely and chemically compatible with the material of the heat-distribution pipes in order to avoid their corroding). The solar system can have
one or more (usually two) distribution circuits.
Then there is
the accummulation reservoir accummulating the heat. If you are using the two circuit system, the first circuits transports the heated fluid to the accummulation tank and the second circuit distributes heat to the place of itīs consumption.
The accummulation tanks can be used also by another, conventional heating systems (
stoves, hearths) and so maximize the energy management efficiency.
