Roofing Contractor Directory User Guide
Basically, I created the
RCP roofers directory using a database I bought approximately 2 years ago from an IT company specialized in database products.
As RoofingChildsPlay.Com was just a one man army (and still is) and I was realistic enough to admit I will never be able to keep a database of 4000 roofers 100% up-to-date I was skeptic and decided not use the database until now.
I still think such huge directory cannot be updated by only one person. Yellow pages fail in that and they have dozens of employees.
The roofers can move from one place to another, the street names can be changed, phones can be renumbered and even the companies can be renamed but I decided to give it a try.
To keep the directory as up-to-date as possible I decided to embed some links to each particular rooferīs profile page (e.g.
Bama Roofing & Vinyl Siding) that should help the user find relevant information.
I.e., beside the standard information that any contractors directory will give you, users also have chance to check the:
MAP of the city/town area - where the roofing company resides (with the help of Yahoo Maps);
Phone number check - (with the help of above mentioned Yellow Pages);
Contractor license status check (US only) - (which will redirect you to the particular state contractor licensing authority;
Contractor reliability check - which checks the trust report of Better Business Bureau.
Do you think I should include anything else? Iīll do so just let me know
