How To Check The Contractor's License

So you found a roofing contractor of your choice and now you should check if the contractor is properly licensed and if the license is still active.

You can do so by going to Contractors-License.org which checks the contractor licenses by state..

Just select the state and you will be redirected to a page with contact to the particular state licensing and regulation department. Page will also list all conditions the contractor has to fullfil and exams he has to pass to get the license.

However, in certain states the contractors are not required to have a particular specialty license, the general building contractor license is fully OK, which will not help you very much.
